What data Miqyas processes, why, and how long we keep it.

Who we are

Miqyas is an app for Salla stores that helps a store's customer pick their size from the size chart the merchant confirmed. This page explains what data we process, why, and how long we keep it.

Merchant and store data

When the app is installed from Salla we process what it needs to run:

  • The store name, its Salla identifier, and the store owner's email address.
  • The store's products — names, categories and identifiers — to show them and link them to size charts.
  • The access tokens Salla issues, used to sync products on the store's behalf.
  • The size charts the merchant creates and the versions they publish.

Customer measurements

When a store's customer enters their measurements in the size finder, we use them to compute the fitting size from the merchant's chart, and record the outcome.

We do not ask for or store a customer's name, email, phone number or address. Measurements alone do not identify anyone.

Submitted measurements are deleted automatically 30 days after they are entered. What remains is a statistical summary — the result status and the suggested size — without the measurements themselves.

Merchants never see their customers' measurements. Usage reports show counts and aggregated outcomes only.

Storage on the customer's device

The size finder keeps what the customer entered in their browser's session storage so a page refresh does not lose it. It is cleared when the tab closes, and is not used for tracking or advertising.

We do not use cookies for marketing or cross-site tracking.

Support messages

If a merchant sends a message through the help centre or requests an unsupported setup, we store the message and send a copy to our support inbox along with the sender's email so we can reply.

Pictures merchants upload

Pictures a merchant uploads to illustrate how a garment is measured are stored in publicly readable storage, because they are shown to that store's customers on the product page. Do not upload pictures containing private information.

Who we share data with

We do not sell data and do not share it for advertising. We use service providers only to run the app:

  • Salla — the store platform the installation and product data come from.
  • Supabase — database and file storage.
  • Vercel — application hosting.
  • Resend — operational and support email.

Your rights

A merchant can ask to access, correct or delete their store's data by writing to support@miqyasapp.com. When the app is removed from a store we stop syncing and invalidate its access tokens.

If you are a customer of a store that uses Miqyas and have a question about your data, contact that store or write to us directly.

Changes to this policy

If how we process data changes, we will update this page and change the last-updated date at the top.
